In classes with our youngest students, we employ activating methods that engage all senses and allow for learning through play, supporting the intellectual, emotional, and social development of our youngest learners. Thanks to an individual approach and the commitment of a qualified team of teachers, each child has the opportunity to discover their potential and develop skills in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere.
Play and discovery method: In preschool and early school education, children learn most through active play and exploration of the world. Our teaching method is based on engaging children in various games, play activities, and experiments, which develop their cognitive, motor, and social skills. Educational games reinforce learning vocabulary, counting, recognizing letters. Children learn through play in forms adapted to their abilities.
Creativity support method: By encouraging creativity and experimentation, we aim to awaken every child’s imagination. Using art materials, drawings, constructions, and other artistic activities, we help students express their thoughts and feelings and develop manual and descriptive skills. During art classes, we develop manual dexterity and creativity through drawing, cutting, moulding, and tearing. We use many interesting techniques that encourage children to creative activity.
Polish language learning method: Our goal is to create a friendly and natural environment for learning the Polish language. Children learn through songs, rhymes, stories, and word games, which facilitate the assimilation of new words and language structures in an informal and enjoyable way.
We use many props, blocks, puzzles, and other aids that develop imagination and senses in our classes. We read Polish books to children, tell fairy tales, and encourage conversations to develop speech and vocabulary.
Interactive experiences method: We introduce children to the world of Polish culture, traditions, history, and geography through interactive projects and exploration. Through thematic lessons and workshops, students have the chance to discover the richness of Poland and understand their roots.
Cooperation and collaboration method: Our school emphasises cooperation and building relationships among children. Through joint projects, group tasks, and team exercises, we teach children teamwork, empathy, and problem-solving in a group.
Continuous development and individual approach method: Our teachers constantly expand their knowledge and skills to provide the latest and most effective teaching methods. With an individual approach to each child, we tailor our methods to their needs and pace of development.
We believe that together with parents, we will create an inspiring and creative educational space that will allow our preschoolers and kindergarten students to grow, develop, and explore the world in the spirit of joy and positive learning.
Teaching Methods for Older Classes
Modern teaching methods: In our school, we use innovative and interactive teaching methods that support the intellectual, social, and emotional development of our students. Our qualified team of teachers engages students in active learning, developing their cognitive skills and creativity in an inspiring way.
Polish language lessons include text work – reading, analysis, discussion, and creative forms of expression. We also practice speaking skills – dialogues, describing pictures, discussions.
Project and practical tasks method: Learning through practical projects that involve research, experiments, and creative work. Through thematic projects, students gain knowledge, develop research skills, and work on specific tasks, which fosters their independence and problem-solving ability. In history and geography classes, we often use the project method – students in groups carry out research tasks, developing cooperation and independence. We use audio and video materials to introduce a variety of stimuli and develop listening comprehension. We organize educational games that reinforce and test knowledge in an attractive form.
Participation and cooperation method: We support active student participation in the learning process through discussions, debates, presentations, and group projects. We encourage the exchange of ideas, joint problem-solving, and constructive cooperation, which develops communication skills and teamwork. We encourage pair and small group work, which facilitates interaction in Polish.
Educational technology method: We use modern educational tools, such as tablets, interactive whiteboards, and specialised apps, so students can learn in an interesting and interactive way. Technology helps visualise complex issues, encouraging active participation.
Independence support method: We aim to develop the ability to think independently and solve problems. Students learn to analyze information, formulate their own opinions, and make decisions. We support them in building confidence and trust in their abilities.
Analysis and critical thinking introduction method: We introduce students to the skill of analysing facts, conducting research, drawing conclusions, and critically assessing information. This develops logical thinking and rational decision-making skills.
We believe that through these modern and diverse methods, students in grades 4-6 will be able to develop intellectually, socially, and emotionally, preparing for future challenges in an interesting and engaging way.
*The diversity of methods makes classes interesting, engaging, and effectively develops knowledge of the Polish language.
