As part of the “Vitamin” project, we aim to shape healthy eating habits in children by promoting a culture of consuming meals rich in vegetables. The project activities aim to educate both children and their parents about a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
HEROESON – Engage with History!
Goal: Commemoration of the participants of the Warsaw Uprising and promotion of Poland’s 20th-century history.
HeroON is a nationwide campaign initiated by the Sensoria Foundation and the Columbus Generation Foundation. The project focuses on memory, education, and aid, expressing respect for the heroes of the Warsaw Uprising and promoting knowledge of Polish history.
FOUNDATION SCHOOL WITH CLASS
Goal: Support for teachers and principals in professional development.
The project focuses on developing teachers’ competencies through the introduction of innovative work methods, such as design thinking, agile and scrum elements, or flipped classroom. All this so that teachers can continuously develop and introduce modern approaches to education.
INVITE ME TO YOUR CLASSROOM
Goal: Enriching the educational process by inviting experts from various fields.
The “Invite me to your lesson” project aims to open schools to cooperation with external experts from diverse fields – scientists, artists, entrepreneurs, to enrich the traditional teaching process. This gives students the opportunity to have direct contact with practitioners and specialists, which can not only inspire them to further development but also show the practical application of theoretical knowledge.

Christmas over the Thames
Goal: The project “Christmas over the Thames” for children of Polish descent in London aims to promote Polish culture and traditions abroad, with an emphasis on linguistic, cultural, and social education. The primary goal is to develop language skills through active use of Polish in preparations for nativity plays and to deepen knowledge of Polish traditions, especially those related to Christmas.
The project envisages a series of educational, cultural, and integrative activities. Children will have the opportunity to learn and practice the Polish language, become acquainted with Christmas traditions, and participate in preparations for nativity plays, which will allow them to develop their linguistic and cultural skills. Furthermore, the project serves as a platform for the integration of the Polish community in London, offering children the chance to build relationships with peers and develop social and interpersonal skills. Participation in the project also aims to foster self-confidence, public speaking skills, promote the value of bilingualism, and openness to other cultures. Artistic and creative activities enable children to express themselves and develop their imagination. Supported by the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in London, the project contributes to the comprehensive development of children and strengthens their connections with Polish culture.
Polish language half-term break program
Goal: The main goal of the program is to enable children to learn the Polish language in an engaging and enjoyable manner, by integrating education with play and creative activities. We aim to spark an interest in the Polish language and culture, while simultaneously developing the linguistic skills of participants in a natural and motivating environment.
During the winter break, children will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities that not only allow them to learn the Polish language but also to develop personally and creatively. The program includes educational, dance, arts and crafts, and artistic activities, which are tailored to different age groups and levels of proficiency. These activities will foster imagination, communication skills, and integration with peers. The program provides a dynamic learning environment where each child can experience the joy of learning while discovering the richness of the Polish language and culture.
Women’s History Month
Goal: To commemorate and promote the contribution of women to the development of science, art, literature, and history, with special emphasis on figures such as Marie Curie-Skłodowska and her daughter Irène Joliot-Curie, Elżbieta Zawadzka, Maria Siemionow, and Agnieszka Pilchowa. To increase awareness of gender equality and to inspire through the achievements of women.
During Women’s History Month, we organize a series of educational activities, including group projects and presentations, aimed at better understanding and appreciating the role of women in various fields of life. These activities will provide an opportunity to discuss equality, respect, and ways in which the lives and achievements of women can inspire our communities.
Polish Heritage Days
Goal: The eighth edition of Polish Heritage Days aims to promote Polish culture, heritage, and Poland’s contribution to the social, cultural, and economic life of Great Britain. This year, there is a special emphasis on encouraging the submission of projects inspired by the patrons of the year 2024 and significant anniversaries.
Polish Heritage Days in 2024 will be an opportunity to celebrate important anniversaries and events, such as the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising, the Battle of Monte Cassino, the 20th anniversary of Poland’s accession to the European Union, and the 25th anniversary of Poland’s entry into NATO. This initiative is an excellent platform for presenting Polish history, traditions, and achievements, as well as for integrating the Polish community with other communities in Great Britain.
We encourage parents to actively participate in these activities and share their own experiences, which can further enrich the educational goals of the project.
