Support
Parents are the pillar of the Polish school! Your involvement translates into the institution’s successes. Therefore, regularly participate in organised events – come to meetings, academies, ceremonies. It’s a great opportunity to integrate with the school community, also a fantastic chance to meet teachers and support creating bonds in the school community.
You can also actively participate in the Parent Council – help organise events, fundraisers for school purposes, or represent the parents’ voice. The school will also appreciate the help of parent volunteers in decorating rooms, preparing refreshments, or at fairs.
At home, support your child by helping with homework in Polish, reading books together, and conversations that reinforce knowledge. Most importantly, speak Polish daily, pass on traditions, and cook Polish dishes. This builds the child’s Polish identity.
By engaging in various ways, you show that you care about the development of your child and the school. This is key to success!
